Since we last heard from The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, the five-piece alternative rock act has paved their own way for their incredibly ambitious new album Am I The Enemy? This self-released album comes on the heels of the band’s 2006 Gold selling album Don’t You Fake It (spawning the smash single “Face Down”), followed by 2009’s Lonely Road (which debuted in the Top 20 of the Billboard 200).
Though Red Jumpsuit Apparatus was due for a third record on Virgin, the band instead opted to reconnect with its D.I.Y. roots, by building its very own studio and channeled all that angst into the explosive 2010 The Hell Or High Water EP. The band continued to channel their creative and influential DIY processes into what’s sure to be their most powerful and influential album to date, Am I The Enemy?
The first single, “Reap,” is an ambitious track and anchors the band’s most personal and revealing album yet – a vociferous testament to the band’s belief in accepting fate and truly listening to your instinct.
