With QUICKSAND, we wanted to shift drastically from our last single, “Bad Love”, and to create something unapologetically fierce. We wanted to write a track that was just relentlessly heavy. I’ve always been pretty fascintated by Egyptian mythology and this song felt like a perfect fit to experiment with it. We ended up with what is probably the heaviest track of our careers. We debuted this track at Rock Fest in Cadott, WI and the energy we felt from the crowd was incredible!”
