Death By A Thousand Cuts

Swedish Alternative Metalcore outfit, Imminence, has established their own highly unique brand of Hard Rock and Metal and pushed those genres beyond extents of anyone’s expectations. With the distinct use of classical string arrangements blended with the influence of ferocious Scandinavian Metal, the sound and visual universe of the quintet stands out as one of the most innovative and exciting acts on the market today.

Fronted by vocalist and violinist Eddie Berg, guitarists Harald Barrett & Alex Arnoldsson, drummer Peter Hanström and bass player Christian Höijer – Imminence has begun a new release cycle having three new singles released since June 2023. The new tracks “Come Hell or High Water”, “Desolation”, and “Heaven Shall Burn” have quickly achieved millions of streams and achieved a rapid growth via social media, and given the band great attention during this year’s festival season where Imminence has performed at the Wacken, Summerbreeze, and Reload festivals, where they shared the stage with genre pioneers Architects, and many more.

Imminence recently announced their very first tour in North America. As always, the group never ceases to do the unexpected, and decided to embark on the tour as a headliner. Within 48 hours, the entire tour was sold-out and some venues are now being upgraded for the second time, recognizing Imminence as one of the most strongly-demanded acts on the international market today. To really honor the live premiere in North America, Imminence are taking the opportunity to release a powerful, brand-new single, “Death By A Thousand Cuts”.

The cycle of the band’s previous album, Heaven In Hiding, closed with an exclusive Deluxe-Edition release, including the bonus track “Jaded”. Shortly thereafter Imminence continued to gain viral attention on all social media platforms, partially due to their remarkable ”Live In Studio” recordings, and experienced an impressive growth of +100,000 followers and millions of streams over the course of just a few months this year.

With four full-length studio albums to their credit, over 220,000,000 career streams, more than 570,000 combined online followers and closing in on 800,000 monthly Spotify listeners, Imminence’s monumental touring history continues this Winter. After selling out headline shows all over the European continent and supporting Metal legends In Flames in late 2022, the announcement of the bands first-ever tour in North America has been an astounding success and Imminence are ready to take on the role as an established live act in the United States and Canada markets. From Sweden, with love.
